Rochelle Gores Fredston
Los AngelesRochelle Gores Fredston is an entrepreneur and businesswoman who is currently the Strategic Advisor for Apparel and Acquisitions at The Gores Group which focuses on investments in both established and emerging businesses in various fields including technology, communications, industrials, materials, business services, media, healthcare, consumer, aerospace and defense.
Rochelle earned a B.S. Degree in textile and apparel merchandising at Western Michigan University. Upon graduation, she moved to New York to work for Scoop NYC. Her career quickly progressed, as she became Field Merchandiser responsible for the visuals in 14 east coast stores.
She previously owned renowned LA fashion boutique, Arcade which became a favorite of top celebrities and stylists who came to depend on Rochelle and her staff for style advice
In addition to her role at The Gores Group, Rochelle joined VoicePlate, a Los Angeles-base, innovative social media and technology company, as a member of the Board of Directors and as its Entertainment and Small Business Strategic Advisor. She also serves as a director on the boards of designer label J. Mendel and wholesale clothing manufacturer Big Strike Inc. She joined the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Director’s Circle in early 2013.
Rochelle is active with her charitable endeavors and serves on the board of Los Angeles based charity, Children’s Institute Inc. She has hosted The Autumn Party, which features a fashion show and fundraiser for Children’s Institute, Inc. To further support CII year round, she launched Philanthropic Society Los Angeles (PSLA). PSLA was founded in spring of 2011 and is made up of approximately 50 members including 20 active board members and is the first of its kind in the Los Angeles Area.

Your dream getaway?The Seychelles. The sand is white and the ocean is see-through. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world I have been to.

Your favorite Haney dress and why?I love the sophistication yet sex appeal of the Marlien dress. It’s the LBD that you don’t yet have in your closet.

Favorite hostess gift to give?I like to send a vase of flowers or a bottle of wine the day before.
