Annelise Peterson was born and raised in Laguna Beach, CA and studied at Barnard College in New York City. She is currently the Director of Client Relations at Net-a-Porter, the world’s most prestigious online retailer, hosting national events and liaising with Net-a-Porter’s VIP clients. Prior to this, Annelise founded her own boutique consultancy, Annelise Peterson, Inc. The NY-based company, which catered to luxury lifestyle and fashion brands, drew on Peterson’s executive experience within the ranks of brands like Calvin Klein and Alberta Ferretti.

-How did you meet Mary Alice? Mary Alice and I met years ago through our dear friend Angelique Soave. The rest is fashion history.

-How would you describe your style? I aim for elegant, effortless and timeless. I would probably say that my style is a blend of SoCal and New York: a chic nonchalance but with attention to a strong elegant line, proportion and fit. I am not a label snob, and know when to dial up the evening glamour in New York or dress it down and go boho on the Laguna Beach under the influence of Slim Keith and probably a nod to Audrey Hepburn whom my mother idealized.
