I was so pleased with the Oscars last night! Everyone did a great job, the speeches were wonderful, and the fashion was to die for! I just wanted to gown-watch all night! A few of my picks for most stylish leading ladies were Oscar winners and nominees (even one attempted trophy thief), but all were style winners in my book!

First up, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Cate Blanchett. Cate wore Armani Privé and was just stunning! The look was dazzling, whimsical, romantic, and totally Oscar winner appropriate. I loved the Old Hollywood hair, and subtle makeup.

Next up is Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Lupita Nyong’o. Her style this awards season has been absolute perfection. I am always so excited to see what she will wear next! Her fairytale light blue Prada gown didn’t disappoint. The color was gorgeous on her and every move she made on the red carpet looked like editorial heaven! Her spectacular style and infectious smile make you want to be friends with her!

Last year’s Best Actress winner (and Best Supporting Actress nominee), Jennifer Lawrence, didn’t disappoint in a chic red Dior number. After a minor stumble upon arriving at the red carpet, Jen recovered and wowed me, looking very polished and grown up. I am loving her short hair and elegant jewels, and thought the dress was super sexy.

Speaking of sexy, let’s talk about Angelina Jolie. I was in heaven seeing her in that Elie Saab haute couture gown. Just the right amount of sparkle and sheer. She was beyond sexy without looking like she was trying too hard. Don’t forget her yummy accessory- Brad. Just the hottest couple ever, no?

My favorite look of the night was Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace. The look was everything! Old Hollywood, Gatsby, classy, very glamorous. It was like Veronica Lake was stepping out on the carpet in some very fashionable Versace. Her hair and makeup were perfect for that retro look, and the jewels were just enough sparkle to add to (not distract from) the dress! Love!
