As August is coming to a close and Labor Day is fast approaching, I have a twinge of sadness (a.k.a. the summer blues) as my kids head back to school and I’m jumping back into a really busy work schedule trying to get ready for Spring 2015 market in New York. Here are a few photographs of my summer adventures.
Tom and I spent an amazing week in Turkey. We felt the history of Istanbul as we experienced the colors, sights and smells walking through the spice market where individuals have been trading for 350 years. I photographed one of the incredibly detailed, stunningly beautiful, tiled ceilings in the Blue Mosque.
I, of course, found some incredibly unique jewelry from Sevan Bicakci to embellish my favorite HANEY dresses.

Girls Trip
After Istanbul, I met my closest girlfriends for a “girls only” trip to the Mediteranean. My dresses were being sold for the 1st time in the iconic store, La Parisienne , made famous by Jackie Kennedy. This is the place that the “Capri” pants were rumored to have been created.

That’s me and one of my bf’s Shannon both in HANEY in the window. The Mae is on the mannequins.

All of us in Capri. The girls! Kate, Shannon, Candace, Valerie, moi, Reese and Meredith. I am so blessed to have such smart, talented and sweet friends!
Love my Julie Harrah cover up. Can wear it day to night!

The Blue MAE was named after my gorgeous sister Mae. I am going to put this on and forget my summer blues! Dress Shoes Bracelet Bronzer
