WHAT TO BUY NOW - Mary Alice Haney’s Fall Fashion Picks
Fall in love with the season’s hottest trends. Here is a list of the trends that what you will see all over the red carpet and that you’ll definitely want in your closet this fall.
1. The sweater jacket
Comfort is key this fall highlighted by these yummy sweater jackets. Wear it with a fitted pair of pants and cute stillettos or an ankle bootie (below). It’s perfect for cool fall days or in the evening in Los Angeles since we seem to be having a never-ending heat wave.
2. The ankle bootie
The ankle bootie is here to stay and this season it is a little edgier. Pair it with a short skirt or skinny jeans and a chunky sweater. It is a must have.

3. The jumpsuit
The jumpsuit is a huge player this season. It is a great option when you need to dress up and aren’t in the mood to wear an actual dress. The Carrie by HANEY is available in plunging for the more risqué and bra friendly for the more demur. It looks stunning on its own or accessorized.
4. The boyfriend shirt
There is nothing I like wearing more in the summer than a perfect white shirt. I’m thrilled that it’s been replaced by a darker cousin this fall. Wear it with leather leggings or black trousers. Accessorize with feminine bracelets.

5. Leather
Leather is here to stay. Pair these great leggings with a boyfriend shirt (pictured above) and stilettos or an ankle bootie.

6. 70’s jeans
You all know that I’m inspired by many designers from the 70’s. I’m thrilled to announce the the 70’s bootleg is hot this fall. Wide leg pants are very flattering on any body type. Put away your skinny jeans! Bootleg is back!

7. Anything metallic ideally with an open back
I’m sure it feels too early to start thinking about holiday parties but I think this holiday season is going to be about metallics and open backs. Nothing says holiday more than a little sparkle and nothing is more sexy than a bare back especially when it’s a surprise.
