This time of year is Hollywood’s fashion Super Bowl. I can’t wait for the Golden Globes and the Oscars to see what everyone is wearing and to pick out my favorite dresses. There are some celebrities that look fabulous year after year while there are others where I wonder if they even looked in a mirror before they walked out the door. I was lucky enough to have the stunning Amy Smart wear one of my designs. She always looks amazing and that night stole the red carpet.

Regardless of the dress, it’s often what celebrities wear underneath that is equally as important.

Any good stylist knows, that there are some tricks of the trade that will ensure that clients won’t have an embarrassing moment on the red carpet or while presenting an award. One of my favorites tricks is double sided tape. It works absolute miracles. My favorite brand is ‘Matchsticks Double Stick Tricks Clothing Tape’. You would be amazed at what this tape is able to keep in place.

Everyone has heard of Spanks! However, my favorite versions are the ones that are the Full Slip. You can add your own bra and with the slips you won’t have lines or bulges. If you’re wearing a particularly low cut, backless dress and want to wear a bra, the Nubra is amazing.

When you can’t wear a bra and have the sides open in your dress I use the Breast list tape. It gives you great side boob rather than a droopy one.
