I can’t believe I’ve developed my eighth Haney Collection! Yesterday, we shot Haney Spring/ Summer ’16 at Concrete Studios in the Art District of Los Angeles. I loved being able to incorporate the urban feel of downtown LA into some amazing editorials images.

The model, Anya, started working at 9:00 am with our incredibly talented hair and make-up team, Brian Fisher and Hinako. They created a perfect look for this collection: sensual, California glamour.

The stunningly elegant Anya Kazakova modeled the Spring 2016 collection, which is characterized by striking details such as bright colors. I love designing dresses that make a Haney girl stand out in a crowd.

This collection was shot by one of my favorite photographers, Chika Okazumi, who I have worked with on past photoshoots. She’s excellent!

With the vermillion Scarlett dress already being a fan favorite, I knew I had to refabricate it in another color for spring. Anya looks stunning in this cobalt blue tone!

This dress is the ultimate LBD combining classic style with an unexpected slit. We took hundreds of photos of this piece; it’s my favorite in the collection!

We had such a fun and productive day shooting the latest collection and I can’t wait to show you all!
